Why you should use a hand grinder

The thing that defines great coffee, is freshly ground beans. We are sure you have seen all the automatic grinders out there at the various local coffee shops, and this is definitely the way to speed up the coffee making process on the go, but no doubt the feeling you get in preparing our own coffee and grinding your own is something special.

Hand grinders and automatic grinders are indeed different grind size, noise, price, patience are all things that come to mind
Here are a few things to think about.

  1. Hand grinders for traveling.  If your on holiday, camping or out and about, you cant always be guaranteed a fresh cup of coffee from your local. Hand grinders are small and portable, allowing you to grind up those beans in any location.
  2. Hand grinders well priced.  Hand grinders are far more affordable than automatic grinders, making them an easy choice for your budget.
  3. Easy to use.  Pour in the beans, and start grinding away – no electricity, just some elbow grease ! .
  4. A good hand grinder will last a long time.  All burrs eventually need to be replaced, but with a hand grinder you don’t need to worry about a timer that has packed in.
  5. Enjoy the process. Manually grinding your coffee allows you to appreciate the process of brewing coffee. More often than not we are just trying to get that fix on. Stop and take the time enjoy what you doing and that coffee will smell and taste all that better.
