AeroPress Flow Control Filter Cap
When making an Aeropress coffee in the standard upright position, some water can pass through before the coffee bed expands. To prevent drip through, some folks use the inverted method, by which the AeroPress is dosed upside-down, resting on the fully extended plunger.

This allows you to stir all the water with all of the coffee. However, it’s not the safest method as stirring and attaching the cap with a full chamber balancing on a plunger can be a delicate exercise. Not with the The AeroPress Flow Control Cap, which safely prevents drip through in the standard dosing position.
To enhance crema, make your grind slightly finer, and push with more force than usual. This will increase the pressure speed enhancing your coffee’s crema.
